Figma

Used to wireframe and prototype the full site layout, focusing on clarity, responsiveness, and bilingual navigation.

Photoshop

Used to create textured hero imagery, collage assets, and visual overlays inspired by activist posters and zine culture.

The Aqui-Alla.org project was a full-scale creation of a nonprofit website and visual brand, built entirely from scratch. The site is dedicated to informing and empowering communities impacted by U.S. and Mexico immigration policies, using clear visual storytelling and accessible design.
This project included developing a new visual identity system with a custom logo, color palette, typography, and graphic elements. The website was structured to present complex legal information in a digestible and compelling way through multi-page infographics, timelines, and educational guides.

Built using WordPress and Elementor, the final site includes:

  • A fully custom user interface and experience focused on clarity and emotional impact
  • A dynamic resource section with filters by type, category, and legal topic
  • Mobile-first responsive layouts
  • Printable and web-optimized infographic designs
  • A bilingual structure supporting both English and Spanish
  • Visual design inspired by paper textures and protest art

Every part of the site was designed with intention, aiming to help visitors understand their rights, access trustworthy resources, and connect to stories across borders.
